Omnichroma Blocker opaque composite resin by Tokuyama Dental is a light-cured, radiopaque restorative material engineered to work alongside Omnichroma for complete esthetic control. Used when Omnichroma alone cannot adjust to the colour of a strongly discoloured cavity, or when higher opacity is required to cover the oral cavity in larger Class III or IV defects. With an 82% by weight filler load (71% by volume) of silica-zirconia and composite filler, it delivers low polymerization shrinkage and exceptional opacity for demanding clinical cases.

Directions for Use

1. Preparation: Prepare the cavity following standard composite restoration protocols. Etch and bond as required.
2. Application of Blocker: Apply Omnichroma Blocker in an incremental thickness of 0.5 mm over the discoloured area. In cases of very opaque anterior teeth or strong discolourations, a larger layer thickness may be necessary.
3. Light Cure: Light cure the Blocker layer according to the curing light manufacturer's recommended time.
4. Omnichroma Layer: Apply Omnichroma over the cured Blocker layer and build up the restoration incrementally.
5. Finishing & Polishing: Finish and polish the restoration using standard composite finishing instruments.
