Product Description
RelyX Luting 2 features a groundbreaking fluoride-releasing formula that actively promotes dental health, especially beneficial for patients susceptible to caries. Its swift clean-up mechanism via a 5-second tack light-cure option renders excess cement easily manageable, streamlining procedures and enhancing the overall experience.
The Clicker™ Dispenser with two distinct-colored pastes ensures a consistent, uniform mixture and precise application. From PFM crowns to metal restorations, endodontic posts, and orthodontic appliances, this cement caters to a diverse array of dental needs. Directions to Use
1. Preparation
Ensure the tooth and restoration surfaces are clean and free from debris. Perform any necessary tooth conditioning or preparation as per standard dental procedures.
2. Mixing
Dispense equal lengths of the two distinct-colored pastes from the Clicker™ Dispenser onto a mixing pad. Use a suitable spatula to blend the pastes until a consistent color and texture are achieved.
3. Application
Apply the mixed RelyX Luting 2 Cement onto the prepared tooth surface or restoration. Ensure a uniform layer covering the intended area; avoid over-application.
4. Seating
Place the restoration onto the prepared tooth surface and ensure proper alignment and fit. Remove any excess cement that extrudes during seating.
5. Light-Curing (Optional)
Use a light-curing device such as Elipar™ S10 to expose the cement to light for approximately 5 seconds per surface for quick setting of excess cement.
6. Gel State Manipulation
Allow the cement to self-cure for approximately two minutes after seating. Excess cement will reach a gel state, making it easier to remove.
7. Excess Cement Removal
Once the excess cement reaches a gel state, carefully remove it from restoration margins using suitable dental instruments.
8. Final Check and Evaluation
Inspect the restoration for proper seating, fit, and occlusion. Perform any necessary adjustments.
9. Post-Operative Care
Provide appropriate post-operative care instructions and advise on proper oral hygiene practices.
