Prevest DenPro OraTemp NE — Non-Eugenol Temporary Luting Cement

OraTemp NE is a radiopaque, eugenol-free, self-curing temporary cement based on zinc oxide and resin, designed for reliable placement and retention of temporary and permanent crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and splints. Its excellent flow ensures complete seating of restorations, while its low solubility in oral fluids maintains a tight marginal seal — preventing fluid leakage under restorations for up to 4 weeks.

Compatible with all conventional temporary composite materials, OraTemp NE offers increased patient comfort and easy removal when required.

Composition & Specifications

• Base Paste: Zinc Oxide, Vegetable Oil
• Catalyst Paste: Hydrogenated Resin, Ethoxy Benzoic Acid, Octanoic Acid, Acetic Acid
• Working Time: 2:00–2:30 minutes at 25°C
• Self-Curing Time: 6–10 minutes at 25°C

Directions for Use

1. Dispensing: Extrude equal lengths of Base and Catalyst onto the mixing pad. Replace cap tightly after use.
2. Mixing: Thoroughly mix the pastes for approximately 30–45 seconds.
3. Tooth Preparation: Dry the prepared teeth and restoration surface. A protective desensitizer may be applied to clean, dry dentin surfaces and brushed gently for 10 seconds.
4. Application: Apply a thin layer of mixed cement to the internal surfaces of the temporary restoration. Seat with light pressure.
5. Excess Removal: Remove excess cement after 3 minutes using a scaler. Use dental floss for interproximal areas.
